Dasan Networks V5812G GPON OLT was designed to provide effective and relatively low cost access to GPON network. It is intended to operate in localizations with no physical or businness possibility to aggregate several thousands subscribers to one point. Using smaller unit allows to distribute investment costs in time and make savings because it can be more profitable to move smaller unit closer to subscribers in order to use bigger split (1:128).

V5812 itself, despite small size (1U),  does not vary with its performance from bigger OLTs. Due to possibility of installing two power adapters (AC or DC) it provides redundant power supply and can be installed in places where services availability is critical. Power consumption does not exceed 60W.

V5812G device has 4 GPON ports for SFP modules, each of four PON porst supports maximal split 1:128. Additionally it has 8 Gigabit COMBO ports (SFP lub RJ45).

GPON ports are supporting SFP GPON OLT modules, which can operate with 2.5Gbps downstream and 1.25Gbps upstream speed.
