UTD-OM-C is a high performance optical line transmission equipment, combines one ITU-T G.703 compliant standard electrical E1 2048 kbit/s lines plus 10/100 Mbit/s Ethernet signal into an optical data stream for transport over fiber optic. Several transmitter options are available (including WDM version and with SFP module).
UTD-OM-C is equipped with a new generation in-built four-port Ethernet switch supporting "flow control", VLAN, "autocrossover" functions allowing the connection of users without the necessity of using additional devices. On each port of the switch it is possible to assign available transmission band from 64kbit/s to 100Mbit/s with pitch of every 1Mbit/s. Thus it is possible to set priorities for each user directly in the device.
