UTD-MC-N device transparently converts 10/100/1000 Base-T Ethernet electric signal to Ethernet optic signal and is equipped with one 10/100/1000 Mbit/s electric Ethernet port and one SFP GigabitEthernet port.

UTD-MC-N2 can additionally work as dual copper to fiber SFP media converter (two fiber media converters in one), as fiber to fiber converter or as converter with 1+1 path protection.
