UTD-EM-AE1 is Ethernet-over-E1 bridge capable of providing transparent Ethernet connection over a single E1 (G.703/G.704) line. Device can work in two modes: work with Cisco router and Ethernet LANs.

​Work with Cisco router:

In this work mode method of encapsulating Ethernet frame data in HDCL is compatible with Cisco Systems Cisco-HDLC protocol, the default protocol for all Cisco serial interfaces. It allows user to economic use of capabilities offered by Cisco routers. E1 stream can be transmitted either structured (G.704) or unstructured (G.703)
