10G Single Fiber (WDM)

Thanks to adoption of WDM technology the SFP+ modules can offer bidirectional data transmision 8G over single strain of single-mode fiber.  Less fibers needed for full duplex link can bring huge cost savings (especially when fibers are leased from other companies). Most commonly used wavelengths are: 1270nm and 1330nm. Those modules are available in various versions:

XX - denotes wavelength: (23 - 1270/1330nm, 32 - 1330/1270nm)

YYY - denotes distance: (020 - 20km, 040 - 40km, 060 - 60km)
