UTD-OM-F2 is a high performance optical line transmission equipment, combines four ITU-T G.703 compliant standard electrical E1 2048 kbit/s lines plus 10/100/1000 Mbit/s Ethernet signal into an optical data stream for transport over fiber optic. Several transmitter options are available (including WDM version and with SFP module).

UTD-OM-F2 ​is equipped with five-port Ethernet Switch with four 10/100/1000 Mbit/s Ethernet electric ports and one 1000Mbit/s SFP port. UTD-OM-F2 supports advanced Ethernet interface features like: 802.1Q VLAN, 64 independent VLANs supported, VLAN stacking (QinQ, IEEE802.1ad), programmable Ethernet rate limiting: 64kbit/s - 100Mbit/s, Jumbo frame support
