UTD-OM-F is a high performance optical line transmission equipment, combines four ITU-T G.703 compliant standard electrical E1 2048 kbit/s lines plus 10/100 Mbit/s Ethernet signal into an optical data stream for transport over fiber optic. Several transmitter options are available (including WDM version and with SFP module).

UTD-OM-F is equipped with advanced built-in Ethernet Switch with "flow control" and "autocrossover" mechanisms. Each Ethernet port supports programmable rate limiting: 64kbit/s - 100Mbit/s and port priority setting. Ethernet transmission channel may be divided into independent transmission channels through the virtual VLAN mechanism. Up to 16 independent VLANs are supported (full range VID: 0-4095). VLAN tag/untag options, per-port basis. Embedded HTTP server, TELNET server and SNMP agent allows free configuration of the device performance by standard Web browser and continuous monitoring from any management platforms equipped with SNMP client.
